Design Features: The probe has a double protective sheathing which consists of an outer sheathing 310S and C530 ceramics and inner C799 ceramics. Inside of the sheathing there is a 3.2 diam. thermocouple wire (type K, type N) in C610 ceramic insulator. The design allows to use the probe in the harshest industrial conditions.
1-29k Model Type N contains the latest Super XL alloy which allows to extend the life cycle of thermocouple in 2-3 times compared with a thermocouple produced by traditional technology with the use of ceramics and thermocouple wire of 3,2 mm diameter.

Attention! 1-29k Model doesn’t keep high temperature along its entire length, so only the high tempetature length should be in a hot zone. Temperature around a protection head should not exceed 300 °C, in a place where the common stainless steel (321SS) passes to ceramics – 800 °C. The industrial head provides IP54 protection only up to 120 °C. To ensure this condition, it is sometimes necessary to order a longer probe length to take a vulnerable part out of a hot zone.
